1. Your Ohme charger Records charging energy
  2. Your Ohme account Stores the readings
  3. Wattlas Brings energy data and tariff prices together
The arrows show data, not electricity. Your equipment settings stay in Ohme.

What does an Ohme connection add?

Charging history
See when you charged and how much energy your charger delivered.
Electricity rates
Add your tariff to see the rates that applied. Where supported, Wattlas applies smart-charging rates and booked free-electricity sessions to the relevant periods. Some sessions need to be added manually.
Home energy use
Add compatible equipment to see charging beside solar and battery use.

Wattlas separates car and home energy use in kWh. Grid import costs cover the whole home for each tariff period; they are not a separate EV bill. View a charging day in Wattlas.

What you'll need

Connecting this account requires Wattlas Plus.

  • Your Ohme account email and password - the same login as the Ohme app
  • If you signed up with Apple, Google or Facebook, a password set in the Ohme app first
  • About a minute - nothing to look up, your charger is detected automatically

Connect it in Wattlas

  1. Make sure you have a password

If you created your Ohme account with Apple, Google or Facebook, open the Ohme app and set a password under account settings first.

  2. Open Setup → Car charger in Wattlas

Tap the gear icon top-left of the app, then the car icon for the Car charger tab, and pick Ohme from the dropdown.

  3. Enter your Ohme email and password

Enter your Ohme account email and password in the fields below.

    Connect Ohme

How this works: sign in with the same email and password you use for the Ohme app. Nothing else to find - your charger is picked up automatically. If you created your Ohme account with Apple, Google or Facebook, open the Ohme app and set a password first.

  4. Test, then save

Tap Test connection - once it reports a real kWh reading back, Save unlocks. A typo here fails loudly rather than silently saving a broken connection.

  5. Set your charger's position

Choose how your charger is connected and metered. Wattlas uses this to allocate charging to the grid, solar or battery in its energy view. Check with your installer if you are unsure.

    Compare the two charger positions
    Wattlas grid-side charger configuration
Grid-side metering: Wattlas treats the charger as drawing from the grid.
    Wattlas home-circuit charger configuration
Home-circuit metering: Wattlas can allocate charging to solar, battery and grid energy.
Your charging controls stay in Ohme. Wattlas reads charging history. It does not send start or stop commands, change schedules or alter charger settings.

Common questions

You do not need solar to track Ohme charging in Wattlas. See how charging and tariff rates appear together.

I signed up to Ohme with Google, Apple or Facebook - what do I enter?

Open the Ohme app, go to account settings, and set a password there first. Once that's done, use your email and that new password in Wattlas - nothing else changes.

Can Wattlas control my Ohme charger's smart-charging schedule?

No. Wattlas only ever reads from your Ohme account - it can't change a schedule, start or stop a session, or touch any setting. That stays in the Ohme app.
